FARINA MANUTENZIONI INDUSTRIALI S.R.L., represented by its legal representative, with its registered office in Alfonsine – 48011 (RA), Via Della Cooperazione n. 1 – VAT number: 02419350398, has implemented an internal whistleblowing system in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 24 of March 10, 2023, which implements EU Directive 2019/1937 regarding the protection of individuals who report violations of national and Union law. The purpose of this system is to create a positive image of transparency and trust, which is an essential element of a healthy corporate and organizational culture.
WHO CAN MAKE A REPORT?
The person making the report – the whistleblower – is any individual who reports violations they have become aware of within their work context. This definition includes all individuals temporarily or permanently in a working relationship with the company, such as employees (both subordinated and self-employed), collaborators, freelancers, consultants, suppliers of goods and services, interns, volunteers, shareholders, persons with management, direction, control, or supervision roles, as well as those who are in pre-contractual negotiations or trial periods, or those whose relationship with the company has ended.
The regulations protect the whistleblower from any retaliatory actions that may occur as a result of their report. These protections also extend to facilitators, family members, collaborators of the whistleblower, and any entities associated with or operating within the whistleblower’s work environment.
WHAT CAN BE REPORTED?
The regulations cover a broad range of violations, including:
- NATIONAL LAW VIOLATIONS:
- administrative, accounting, civil, or criminal offenses;
- illegal conduct under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.
- EU LAW VIOLATIONS:
- offenses related to areas such as
- public procurement;
- financial services,
- anti-money laundering,
- consumer protection,
- transport security;
- environmental protection;
- radiation protection and nuclear safety;
- food safety,
- health,
- consumer protection,
- privacy protection,
- Network and information systems security;
- Acts or omissions that harm the financial interests of the European Union;
- acts or omissions concerning the internal market, which impair the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital;
- Acts or conduct that frustrate the object or purpose of the provisions set forth in the acts of the European Union.

Personal claims or requests related to the whistleblower’s individual interests cannot be reported.
WHO WILL HANDLE THE REPORT?
The responsible individual (or team) for handling the report is the person designated to receive and process the reports (within 7 days), assess their eligibility, initiate an investigation, and communicate with the whistleblower. The whistleblower will receive feedback within three months of submitting the report.

HOW TO MAKE A REPORT?
Reports can be made in the following ways:
- Anonymous: The report cannot be linked to the whistleblower’s identity. The whistleblower is not required to register and can send the report as an unregistered user through the “Report without Registration” section.
- Confidential: The whistleblower can identify themselves by registering an account. However, even if the report is confidential, the report itself will be sent anonymously to the responsible individual, keeping the whistleblower’s identity separate. It is possible to submit a confidential report even without creating an account, by filling out the report form from the “Report without Registration” section and indicating personal information at the end of the form. The data of the reporter is separated from the report so the confidential report is sent to the Manager anonymously.
Reports can be submitted via the dedicated platform, accessible at the following link https://fmisrl.segnalazioni.net, which ensures the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity and the information provided through encryption systems. The report will only be accessible to the individual submitting it and the responsible party managing whistleblowing reports.
The management and processing of any personal data will comply with the European Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) and the relevant privacy notice available on the platform.
